Today was something truly special.

We had the honor of hosting over 100 Chaplains and their assistants from Fort Hood here at Tyson’s Corners Retreat Center during their Operation Longhorn training day in Lampasas.

We gathered outside under the trees, and I shared a little about my dad—how this vision began—and how I somehow found myself continuing that same mission alongside him. Standing there together with them was a quiet reminder of why this place exists.

This space was always meant to serve those who serve others.

To every Chaplain there—thank you for all you do. It was an honor to care for you today, even in a small way.

And to our incredible Community Partners who helped make today possible—we could not have done this without you. Your generosity directly supported those who spend their lives supporting others.

Tyson’s Corners Retreat Center will be available for one couple only for a private Valentine’s evening.

Bring your favorite take-out or cook a meal together in our retreat kitchen, enjoy a beautifully set table, and spend the evening in a calm, intimate space designed for connection.

✨ Flexible start time between 4–9 pm

This space was built out of a calling to offer retreat & rest for our souls. Over the years it has always been a place for my own healing & rest - a reminder that God always meets us gently, even in our most weary seasons.

These personal retreats are an invitation to that same kind of retreat and rest: quiet time with God, space to breathe, and freedom to lay burdens down.
