The Tumbleweed Riding Club is Lakeside's longest active venue for horsemen of all ages and ability. We are a non-profit organization
dedicated to providing a fun and affordable platform for each and every competitor to learn or advance their or their horses skills in a
friendly show environment. All board members are volunteers and we welcome everyone to be a part of the club, either as a board me

mber
or volunteer worker. Tumbleweed is an open show circuit for horses of all breeds. We offer a variety of classes for youth, amateur, and
professional horsemen. We have a year-end awards program which acknowledges the accomplishments of the previous show season at our annual awards banquet.

Update #2: we have someone to water the arena Saturday! We still need at least one volunteer to do the main gate.

Update: we still need a couple volunteers! Could you be one of them?

Our shows run on volunteers! We need a few more for our Open Show on Sunday.

We need someone to work the main arena gate and someone to do the trail gate. The main arena gate can be divided into a morning shift and an after lunch shift, or one person can do it all day long. Trail gate can be the same person or an additional volunteer.

We also need someone to water the arena Saturday afternoon/evening

Members of TWRC earn volunteer hours for these positions and are required to volunteer six hours or pay $100 per year.

To volunteer, contact Paula Everhart or post here and we'll put you in contact with her.

Mikey Inman-Harchol was a friend to many and a dedicated member and sponsor of Tumbleweed, a constant presence at our shows, as well as a trainer and competitor. She’s been gone from this world for over a year, but her contributions to and impact on our TWRC community will not be forgotten.

On Saturday, friends and family gathered at PVRA to celebrate her life, remember her, and share stories, tears, and laughter.

In her memory, we want to encourage all to be like Mikey- offer a smile or a kindness and cheer each other on.

She will continue to be missed. May the lessons she shared with us not be forgotten.
