Yesterday’s STOL demonstrations continued to draw big crowds as pilots showcased a wide range of takeoff and landing techniques across varying wind and field conditions. We saw consistently strong performances from several pilots, with smooth short‑field departures, precise landings, and impressive energy management throughout the evening. Sheldon Heatherington and Luke Strandlund delivered especially eye‑catching demo runs, while Warren Grobblelaar, Jerry Clemens, and Brad Crawford each put up a series of clean, controlled demonstrations that highlighted their aircraft capabilities. Levi Noguess, Ryan Melendez, Wayne Smith, and others added to the excitement with tight, efficient sequences that kept the audience engaged. Daniel Reynolds and Jared Garetson also contributed some standout short‑landing examples. Overall, the field put on a dynamic display of STOL technique, giving spectators a great look at the skill and discipline behind this style of flying.

🌅 Back in Action This Evening
The STOL demo team returns to the Paradise City runway tonight at 6:45 PM, bringing another round of short‑field demonstrations for spectators to enjoy. It’s a great chance to see these pilots and aircraft in action again as the day winds down.
