A reminder posted yesterday by our supportive LVPD - NO electric scooters, bikes, motorcycles, or any other motorized device through the midway. There are too many people and it is not safe. Please leave them outside of the carnival area and use those walking feet.

We have allowed authorized carnival, golf carts and authorized police and medical golf carts ONLY.

Reminder: the East Sac County FFA students set up the tractor pull immediately following the parade. However due to congested traffic at the end of parade, please be patient and give them some time to get situated!!

Thank you and BIG Thanks to our East Sac County FFA partnership 🥇

As we get close to parade time, please note the parade will start at the corner of Jackson and fifth and follow the route as posted below.

As you are coming into town, please be aware parking and navigation will be tricky. We keep the parade route blocked to keep everybody safe. Barricades will be removed as soon as possible following the end of the parade.

🚔 LAKE VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT | FRIENDLY CARNIVAL PSA 🎡

Apparently, this needs to be said…

The carnival is for walking.

It is NOT a NASCAR track for:
🛴 E-Scooters
🚲 E-Bikes
🏌️ Golf Carts
🚜 Or whatever battery-powered contraption your buddy swears is “basically a bicycle.”

If your transportation has a motor, congratulations… you’ve officially made it too far.

None of these are allowed inside the carnival grounds.

“But I was just going to…”
No.

“Everyone else was doing it…”
Also no.

“I didn’t know…”
Well… now you do.

Park it outside the carnival and use the same transportation method humans have relied on for thousands of years—your feet.

We’re trying to prevent kids from getting turned into hood ornaments by someone doing 12 mph while carrying a funnel cake.

Help us keep the carnival safe, and save yourself the embarrassment of being the person we have to stop in front of half the town.

We’ll be there. We will see you. And yes… we’ll absolutely ruin your shortcut.

Have fun. Be safe. Walk like everyone else. 🎠🍿
