Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival is back!

Mark your calendars for August 8, 2026 in beautiful Lake Placid for what will be the largest FREE community event of the summer.

This year, Feast of the Peaks is bigger than ever with:
• Free admission for everyone
• Live music all day with multiple bands and entertainers
• A full Food Truck Village replacing traditional tastings
• Expanded craft and artisan vendors
• Family-friendly activities and attractions all day long

This event is all about bringing the community together while supporting the Shipman Youth Center and creating an unforgettable day for locals and visitors alike.

Among the highlights of this year’s event, the festival will feature an international tasting with Greek, Polish, Peruvian, Italian fare and more. Local restaurants are providing the food. Entrance to the tasting is $20 per person. To keep them entertained, there will be inflatables for the children as well as face-painting, balloon art and caricatures.

There will also be a raffle with a $3,000 grand prize. Tickets are $50 each, with only 600 printed.

The music schedule is as follows. Each musician will perform for 45 minutes.

Lake Placid, NY – Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival – August 30, 2025

The Shipman Youth Center (SYC) of Lake Placid, NY is hosting an international food tasting and music festival in honor of Dmitry Feld to benefit the (SYC).

The Second annual Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival event will include music, children’s activities, arts and crafts, vendor exhibitions and food tasting.

We are inviting local restaurants to participate and show some of the diverse flavors offered by the area restaurants.

The beneficiary of the Dmitry’s Feast of the Peaks & Music Festival is the Shipman Youth Center (SYC) (www.shipmanyouthcenter.org), a not-for-profit community organization providing support to children and youth ages 10-18. The center was inspired by Thomas Shipman, a designated Lake Placid youth police officer, who died suddenly in 1995 and the center was built in his honor, with community donations of money, materials and labor.

Since the inception, Dmitry Feld has ensured Shipman’s vision has been fulfilled. The SYC has provided services to over 6,000 different children. Programs include homework time and assistance, community services, recreational services, weekly family-style dinners, dances, and guest speakers. SYC provides a supervised, safe and exciting environment where local children can grow and develop as individuals.

The Shipman Youth Center in Lake Placid New York was created to provide a safe place for the kids of the community to mature in a stable environment while providing both direct and indirect guidance for youthful activities.
