Highland Breakfast Sandwiches to be served at Saturday Morning Festival Vendor Check-in

We know that setting up your vendor booth from 7:00 to 9:30 at the Spring 2026 Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday morning, May 9, 2026, is hard work. And there is nothing better to sustain your efforts than a breakfast biscuit from The Highlands Market. The warm biscuit will have egg and a choice of sausage, bacon, or cheese, all for a cost of $4. Plus, there will be coffee for $1 a cup.

So, stop by the information booth right next to check in to start your Festival day off right. And if you are looking for a great meal to celebrate the first day of the festival, please consider The Highland Reserve Restaurant https://thehighlands-reserve.com/ for dinner. Same team, same excellence, but with larger portions.

We are posting reports a day early so as to accommodate holiday activities. It is looking like we will have the rain to fill the last few inches of lake water. It is Spring in Lake Lure with a hundred shades of green everywhere you look.

We still have available vendor booth locations. While we try to prune posts from scammers as soon as we find them, the only way to get a booth is through our website https://lakelureartsandcraftsfestivals.com/vendors. We make announcements on Facebook. We answer general questions on Facebook. We do not handle vendor-specific processing on Facebook. If you see a Facebook post that says, "You can get a booth by DM or email", turn and walk away. It is a scam.

Online applications are being accepted as of Wednesday, January 28th, 2026 at 8:00am. The fee for a single booth space is $170 (an increase of $15 from 2025). Electrical service at selected booths in an additional $10 for 110 volt service and $25 for 240 volt (with either 30amp or 50 amp) service (n...

The bad news is that scammers are out in force on our Facebook presence. We have booth locations available for vendors. The registration process is outlined on the website listed above.

We make announcements on Facebook. We answer questions on Facebook. We DO NOT handle registrations on Facebook. When you see a post on our page that asks you to DM (or email or text or smoke signal) to get a booth space, turn and run away. It is a scam. We delete these posts daily, but they are like weeds in a warm summer rain, springing up uninvited.

On the first day of the Lake Lure Arts & Crafts Festival, May 9, 2026,, the Lake Lure Artists will return to the Lake Lure Beach Pavilion. This talented group of local artists gathers not only to share their creative work but also to give back to the community they love.

Visitors will enjoy a diverse showcase of original art: paintings, fiber art, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, gourd art, photography, fluid art, wood carving, handcrafted items, and even edible art. Art pieces will be available for purchase, and many artists also welcome custom commissions. Each piece reflects the passion and dedication of artists who believe creativity can make a difference.
In addition to artwork, the Lake Lure Artists will offer homemade delicacies available for a donation. All proceeds will benefit the Food for Kids Program at Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach, helping to provide meals to local children in need.
To make the day even more special, each participating artist will donate an original piece for a raffle drawing held at the end of the day, May 9, 2026. Proceeds from the raffle will also support the important work of Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach.
