First trip for the was to the night lights car meet, and what a little road trip it was! Maxing our right around 60-65 mph, meant driving anywhere in California is a BIT terrifying on the freeway. For the first portion of the trip, took a 35 mile. Drive on side streets to LA from Anaheim. We drove by the Porsche Experience Center on our way to a safe place to do a once over on the car and show it to some friends in the area. Got a selfie with a Polestar! No photos to show, but around 115 on Thursday LA Freeways move a BIT slower, so took some time off of the next 15 mile leg (which doesn't sound like much unless you are literally a moving traffic cone) by doing a BIT on the freeway. Maxed out its little legs driving into Long Beach as the traffic cleared. Parked smack dab in the middle of the 2nd from the top floor of the show. Put out all the little cone children, and then wandered the show for a bit. Being the bright orange marker in the middle of the parking structure meant there was ALWAYS someone stopping to take a photo. As soon as one person left there was always 1 or 2 more coming up to grab some more photos! Joy came over as soon as she got off work for a ton more of the same. Awesome night seeing everyone and talking with everyone curious what a was! Someone even left us a little duck! I think jeep guys call it ducking each other or something? Finally, back home along PCH Highway which was the PERFECT call as it was nice and empty and the speed limit is RIGHT in the cars happy place for driving!
