🚨 Calling 20 Men to Step Up and Serve! 🚨

The Lake County Juneteenth Parade is almost here, and we need 20 volunteers to help us keep things running smoothly.

📍 Volunteer Time: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
📍 Parade lineup begins at Noon
📍 Parade steps off at 1:00 PM

Volunteers will help monitor intersections during the parade and assist with cleanup afterward. It’s just a few hours of your time, but it will help create a safe and successful event for our entire community.

Last year, history was made as Jamira Johnson and Truth Thurman were crowned our inaugural Miss & Mr. Juneteenth 👑✊🏾

They represented excellence, leadership, culture, and the future of our community in such a powerful way. From the stage to the streets, they carried the spirit of Juneteenth with pride.

Shout out to our Waukegan to College (W2C) partners and scholarship provider.

Now it’s almost time to pass the torch…
