Full Meltdown Mode!!!
This is the last ice report until next season.

There are still 10 or 20 climbable routes, but expect there to be running water and more challenging access. Also know that the tents, out houses, and the fire pits are gone.

Pumphouse and Devil’s Kitchen are top access. The top of Dynamite Shack is either accessible from the trail up top or from the Beer Garden trail. There is still a bridge to the bottom of Dynamite Shack.

Expect more dangerous conditions than normal including lots of ice fall and even rock fall. A lot of those risks are lessened considerably if you stay off and out from underneath anything (ice or rock) that is near vertical or vertical.

Still some great climbing to be had!

The weather continues to be very warm for this time of year, but we are still open, and most of the ice is still in good shape. The river continues to break up, but everything is currently still accessible from the bottom.

Top access will soon be your best bet for Pumphouse, Devil’s Kitchen and Roly-Poly. There is a great bridge at Dynamite Shack, so that whole wall is easily accessible for the rest of the season!

Planning what to do this weekend?!?!
We have SO MUCH ICE!!
We have been blessed to have an insane abundance of great climbing!
As of today our route count is right around 200!
The temps have been trending a little colder the last few days, which means we have been able to get a lot of routes refreshed!

Come watch the competitions, check out gear from Mountain Chalet, grab a drink with Packer Saloon and Cannibal Grill, take a clinic with The Colorado Climbing Company, be mesmerized by the highlining skills of Uncharted Lines LLC, indulge in a massage with MVMT Nomadic Therapy, enjoy the documentary "Anna", and all around hang out with good people.

Winter finally hit hard last week!
All of the areas have grown some PHAT, beautiful, blue ice in the last week.
So much ice, so few people!
