We are in need of a full-time Environmental Technician to participate in all types of our on-going environmental projects. These include:

• Soil and groundwater investigations,
• Groundwater and surface water monitoring,
• Site inspections,
• Agency reporting,
• Solid waste and air permitting, and
• Wetlands delineations and permitting.

Must be willing to work outside in the elements and have flexibility to travel and work in various parts of Louisiana. Southland Environmental would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all those helping Southwest Louisiana recover and rebuild from the catastrophic impacts of Hurricane Laura. Our office is temporarily closed awaiting power but we are available via email and ready to continue providing environmental consulting services to the community.

We are hoping that everyone is staying safe during these trying times. Following the recommendations from the Governor, we are currently open rotating personnel at the office and working from home. The office does remain closed to the public at this time. Should any clients or potential clients need to reach us, we are available by phone to discuss any environmental related work such as wetlands, property development, LPDES sampling, waste related issues, or any other environmental work you may have.
