As the dust begin to settle and the bodies begin to recover!

I would like to take this time to thank the Lake Charles community for all the support given this past weekend . The Showdown in the Lake
had 33 boys and girls teams competing throughout the city to determine a Boys Champion and Girls Champion !

I want to the Mr Freddie Harrison and Mrs Shannon Foolkes personally for the the use of their gyms at LCCP and Sam Houston

My Principal, Morgan Elizabeth thank you for being a team player!

To the Parents both boys and girls I can’t thank you enough for giving up your time to make sure that our brand was stjll the best in the State !

To the Clock operators and Bookkeepers you guys are the glue that make it all work, spending 3 days at the table and doing a remarkable job.

To the Hamilton Athletic Staff, Teachers, and Admin you are appreciated.

To all the teams that traveled as far as Shreveport ,Monroe , New Orleans ,Baton Rouge and surrounding areas thank you for your participation in the TOP TOURNAMENT IN THE STATE !

To all the fans thanks for making the atmosphere electric throughout the weekend ! Basketball is alive and Well in Southwest Louisiana !

To all the local teams LCCP , Washington Marion Iowa and Host Hamilton thanks for your participation!

To my Home Crew from Opelousas thanks the food for the 11th year has passed the taste test once again!

Finally to All the Sponsors this event doesn’t work with out you. Your continuous support to the Showdown in the Lake is greatly appreciated.

We will continue to grow this event and make it even better in the future !

Next year date has already been set reserve your spot early for The Most Competitive Tournament in the State !
