Boomerang was formed over 20 years ago as a 70’s and 80’s Rock Band performing at Casinos and Festivals from Miss. to Tx. The Band opened for Wayne Toups for several years as they toured the festival circuit for the Norman Land Agency.
Boomerang was formed by 4 members, Greg Richardson-Keyboards/Vocals (former recording Artist with CBS Records), Victor Montgomery-Lead Vocalist/Guitar, Rod Laverne-Bass/Vocals, and Joseph ’JP’ Booth-Drummer/Vocals who are still with the Band today.
The Band has merged with 4 members-formerly of ColdSweat, to create the new BoomerangSWLA , that has become the Premier Horn band providing High-Energy variety Dance music spanning many years and genres.
Michael Dolan-Lead Guitarist/Vocals, Roger Cornwell-Trombone/Vocals, and Robert ‘Robbie’ Prejean -Trumpet/Vocals bring the Powerful sound that has become the signature of BoomerangSWLA.

Born into the world of backstage passes and worn-in guitar cases, this guitarist carries the blues in his bloodstream. As a child traveling with his dad’s bands across the late ’90s circuit, he fell in love with the heartfelt phrasing of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the warm elegance of B.B. King, and the expressive depth of Eric Gales. His father played alongside icons such as Jeff Healey and Buddy Guy—and that legacy crackles through his tone like a tube amp on the edge of breaking.

Hi my name is Chad Ryan I’m a country music singer songwriter from Westlake Louisiana. Been playing in the lake area for over 10 years, by trade I am an HVAC technician working for a company called air worx. in my free time I sing country music at every dive bar that will allow me to do it, I love it to death and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else in my free time. Eric Slapton provides a jarringly diverse music listening experience, with material spanning over 6 decades. Best known for a rendition of Bobby Caldwell's "What You Won't Do For Love," a medley of "Yesterday's Blackbird" by The Beatles, and a super-medley titled "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yellow Ledbetter" by Boyz II Men and Pearl Jam.

Ganey Arsement

Ganey Arsement-Bio
Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, Ganey Arsement reveled in the rich cultural mixes of
music which includes Country, Cajun, Zydeco, Tex-Mex, Swamp Pop, and many others. He took
an interest in playing music at a young age, but never really made any progress until he took a
guitar class in college. After that, on just about any weekend, you could find him playing
accordion, guitar, or bass, in many different Cajun bands.
For the last thirty years, Ganey has been a part of the SWLA music scene. He has toured all
over the country visiting forty-three states and 5 countries while sharing the stage with Geno
Delafosse, The Ardoin Family Band, Allison Krauss, Jo-EL Sonnier, and many more. He has
recorded two full length albums. The first being a traditional Cajun album featuring nine original
songs; the second, an experimental project with all original music venturing into the Country and
Americana realm and was funded by a grant from the Louisiana Division of Arts. Ganey joined
the National Association of Recording Arts and Science (The Grammys) as a voting member in
2009.

Tim Norris, an ordained pastor by vocation, has called Lake Charles home since 2007. Previously he has also played his mix of acoustic blues, gospel, and folk at venues and festivals in Birmingham, Louisville, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati.

Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana Brad Broussard is an Entertainer/Singer/Songwriter in the business since 1992 with the formation of his first group Chute 13. Performing in several bands through the years he settled into solo acoustic shows 2009 and then most recently reunited with former Chute 13 drummer Jay Sonnier to do a singing guitarist/drummer 2 man show with much success.

In 2015 Brad recorded his first CD ‘Don’t Let The Hat Fool Ya!’ in which 3 of his singles are available in digital format where ever great music is sold with the intensely popular song ‘The Duck Blind’ really taking off around the world. Brad was recently back in the studio cutting his next singles from the ‘Slightly Above Average’ collection!

Brad performs throughout the gulf coast on a regular basis and is known as one of the best Entertainers around with a mix of almost every genre of music. He is commonly referred to as Mr. Medley or The Jukebox. If you haven’t experienced a Brad Broussard or Chute13 show it’s really hard to put into words the magic his music/delivery has on you.
