June 28, 2025. Everything about this day and couple was truly perfect! From the getting ready at the beautiful Lafayette Park Hotel to heading up to their wedding venue, Wildwood Acres Resort. From the first look between the bride and her father to the fun on the dance floor with the couple and their family and friends. I would not have wanted to be anywhere else but to be by their side, camera in hand, documenting and guiding them on their special day.

This was a really hard day. Four hours before I was to begin shooting this wedding, sadly, we had to put our very loved dog, Roxy down. To say that we were devastated is an understatement. And yet, I had a job to do. There really is no getting out of a wedding. The bride called me that morning to give me a detail. I wasn't in good shape when I picked up. I told her what happened. I told her no matter what, I would be bringing my A game to her wedding. I might not be as chatty and fun loving. But I would show up and give it my all. And I did.

But let me tell you about this bride, who is now one of my very favorite ever. The compassion and kindness that she and others there that day showed me will never be forgotten. I know how I made it through the day. Through the grace of God and the kindness and love that was shown to me that day and evening.

So thank you Michela. Your smile and laughter that day was so refreshing. The world needs more like you. You are one in a million!
