What an incredible way to head into another year of teaching singing lessons!…
I’m SO proud of ALL my LNS students who performed at this weekend—and overjoyed that every group category winner was part of the LNS fam! 🏆✨ I loved writing these arrangements, teaching choreo, shaping expression and connection, and focusing on my absolute favorite part of music (and humanity)… harmony! Every group and duo I had the joy of working with was absolutely magnificent, and I loved creating music with them all.
I also had the honor of working with two of the winning solo vocalists on their Idol songs—and over two dozen Idol participants in total! This was definitely one of the most Idol-filled summers I’ve had in the past two decades of this incredible program, and I loved every minute of it.
My favorite thing about Lamorinda Idol? Every performer is truly a winner. It’s an incredible experience that helps young performers grow in both talent and confidence, and I’m honored to be part of it!
Congratulations to everyone who competed this weekend! Every performance I’ve had the opportunity to watch—through videos and throughout the rehearsal process—has brought me to tears. I’m so proud of you all, and so grateful that you trusted me to be part of your journey. 💖🎶
