Blue Monday: Blue Monday Concert Series

Blue Monday: Blue Monday Concert Series With the mission of providing life care services for aging, retired and elder musicians and artists in our community. Thank you ~ Blue Monday Staff

What started as a gathering of friends and music lovers has grown into a lifeline — providing elder musicians with medical support, home repairs, financial help, and the dignity they earned through a lifetime of song. Blue Monday takes place the 2nd Mon of every month at the Jefferson Street Pub downtown Lafayette Louisiana. The event is a fabulous night of music with a top notch house band that f

eatures some of Acadiana's musical treasures,Major Handy, Lee Allen Zeno, Lil'Buck Sinegal, Sir Reginald Masters Dural, Kevin Menard and Robert Richard. Each month we feature invited guest artists from the rich local music community and throughout the state as well as impromptu appearances and performances by members of our extended musical family.. At Blue Monday Jam Session we favor early evening show hours and boast a blue plate special dinner and drinks with the tastiest dishes around that only home cooked Lafayette locals could provide! This is a locally based event and takes place only with the hard work of volunteers who strive to bring the best to all members of our community. Won't you please show your support by attending, contributing and/or join us in our efforts and volunteer your time?

Acadiana, we need you.

Lee Allen had one final wish:
Finish the renovations to the forever home he prepared for his beloved Ms. Mary.

We’re coming together to make that wish a reality.

🎵 Live music & community tributes
👕 Lee Allen T‑shirts for sale

This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a chance to lift up Ms. Mary, honor Lee’s legacy, and show what Acadiana can do when we stand together.

Please share this post far and wide.

Let’s finish what Lee started. Let’s do this for him. 💛🎶

This will be a Blue Monday NOT to Miss! The final production from our angel Lee Allen Zeno: Tribute to Otis Redding featuring Ray Boudreaux. AND of course, our Blue Monday Allstars will be playing some of Lee's favorites.

Opening our Jam Session will be the house band for Acadiana Talent, Certified Blues. Lee would be so proud of these aspiring blues artists! Bella (16) on vocals, LJ (16) on guitar, Jaidynn (14) on keys, Shane Michael (14) on bass and Tyler (22) holding down the drums.

Well… here we are. We knew this day would come, but you’re never truly ready to lose a friend, a mentor, a father, a husband… a legend. This weekend, Lafayette said goodbye to that legend after his long, courageous battle with cancer.

Mr. Lee Allen Zeno has gone on to play his soulful, blues‑soaked music upstairs. We know he’s smiling down on us, and we know he feels every word of love, every memory shared, every acknowledgment of the beautiful musical life he lived.

Walking this journey with him has been one of our greatest honors. The accolades, the lessons, the jokes, the kindness, the early‑morning texts: they may be quiet for now, but they will live forever in us.

He was a true gem.

Rest easy, Soul. We’ve got it from here.
