I'm Rhonda Goodland and was a close friend of the original owner Barbara Robin, who is sadly no longer with us, but my desire is to continue her dream.

Our family celebrated my son’s college graduation on Friday 05/15/26. Ms. Rhonda was so nice, accommodating and helpful throughout the process. From the first day that I met her via messenger, she made herself available for me to come view the venue. She was more than welcoming and communicative. Her place is perfect for a small to medium sized party . I will definitely use Venue 292 again. Thanks again Ms Rhonda for making our party a success 😊

Today, I became one of the newest members of the Connections Professional Networking for Women organization. What a fabulous group of welcoming and inspirational business women. We had a delicious luncheon at the Petroleum Club this afternoon. I am so very honored to have been invited to their monthly luncheon and to join their organization.

Representing the venue tonight at my first business networking event. Thank you to KLFY and to The Yard Goat for hosting! It was very successful and hopefully becomes an annual event. It has been a pleasure to be able to help everyone celebrate their events that we have been blessed to host in our venue. It is with great sadness that we announce as of February 1st we will be closing the doors. Barbara had a dream for it that we, as her family tried to keep alive for her, but since her passing it has not been feasible for us to continue running it with the business being slow. We appreciate everyone who has considered us for their parties and events. Please note that this is only the venue, A Baker's Choice will continue to stay open.
