Yesterday, we had the honor of riding alongside our community to celebrate the life of Charlie St. Clair.
It is difficult to put into words what Charlie meant to Laconia, to Motorcycle Week, and to the motorcycling community as a whole. For more than three decades, he poured his heart into Laconia Motorcycle Week, helping preserve its history while carrying its traditions forward for generations of riders. His passion helped make Laconia what it is today.
For us at Laconia Harley-Davidson, Charlie was more than a familiar face during Motorcycle Week. He was part of the fabric of this community and part of a tradition we are incredibly proud to be a part of.
Seeing so many motorcycles, friends, family members and members of the community come together for Charlie’s final ride was a powerful reminder of just how many lives he touched. Yesterday was filled with stories, memories, motorcycles and the kind of camaraderie Charlie spent a lifetime helping foster.
We are grateful we had the opportunity to be there, to ride in his honor, and to say goodbye alongside a community that loved him.
Charlie spent much of his life keeping the history and spirit of Laconia Motorcycle Week alive. Now, he has become an unforgettable part of that history himself.
Thank you for everything you gave to Laconia, Motorcycle Week and the riding community. Ride on Charlie. April 16, 1950 - August 22, 2026. 🕊️
