When we first moved to The City of La Porte, we started marking each anniversary with a city-wide celebration called Turn Up the Lights — a way to pull our community together to do something good for La Porte. That first year, together, we helped raise money to build the amphitheater bathrooms at Fox Park. The next year was the skate park. It’s been something good and different each year.
In 2020, when the world was told to stay home, we knew it was time for the community to shine brighter still — and that year we began to Turn Up the Lights a little differently. That decision became A Whole World of Good — a 10,000-square-foot general store, boutique, coffee bar, and apothecary in the heart of downtown, where neighbors could gather in the 3,000-square-foot upstairs lounge to create, connect, and keep the flames burning as the world was darkening.
Now, five years later, we’re still here. The world may be darker, but together we’re stoking the embers again and spreading. We’re turning up the lights through Studio 7:14 | Wellness by Design — a studio offering counseling, FAR infrared sauna, PEMF therapy, It’s Not Yoga classes, rebounding, a wellness apothecary, group classes, and more — located across the street.
Studio 7:14 is open Monday – Saturday, 7:14 a.m.–7:14 p.m., and Sundays, noon–7:14 p.m. at 714 Lincolnway — right across from A Whole World of Good.
