Bobby Orlando d. Connor Hopkins to become the Dreamwave Champion. He is just the 12th man to hold the title.
Following the match, the Dreamwave locker room emptied to celebrate Bobby Orlando’s championship victory and the apparent downfall of The Curse.
But the celebration quickly turned into chaos.
As the ring cleared, Sidney Bakabella blindsided Bobby Orlando with a shocking fireball to the face, leaving the new champion vulnerable. Channing Thomas then delivered a devastating piledriver, bringing the celebration to a horrifying end.
The scene was eerily reminiscent of last October, when The Curse first formed and destroyed Channing Thomas’ own Dreamwave Championship celebration.
History had come full circle. This time, Channing Thomas was the one delivering the nightmare.
