The summer is coming to an end and the library would like to have one more special storytime before summer ends. La Grange ISD will be bringing a school bus to the library this Wednesday, August 10th at 10:15am, outside of the library. Join us for stories and to tour a real school bus. This will be the only storytime in August. We will resume our weekly storytimes in September.

This Thursday, August 4th from 5-7pm, is our annual summer reading party in the park! Outside the library we will have a foam blaster, petting zoo, dunk tank, roasted corn, pizza, music, balloons and much more!! This event is free and open to the community. R&R Shaved Ice will also be making a visit to sell their delicious works of art.

Back 2 School Festival for Pre-K to 3rd will be held at Tejas Health Care located at 890 E Travis St., La Grange on Saturday August 6 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

This program provide back packs stuffed with school supplies to students in need in Fayette County. Become a sponsor today, call Gene Carson (713.253.3358) or mail yours checks to Tejas Health Care (Back 2 School Festival), 753 E. Travis St., La Grange.

Summer 2022 La Grange Soccer Camp! July 18-20 in the evening each day for K-8th graders, boys and girls at the High School. Please contact Coach Mc, Coach Westall, or the elementary, junior high, high school, or LGISD central office to get your registration form (pictured below).

Please return your form and payment (checks made out to LGISD) by Friday, May 27th for the best deal! We are looking to make this a fun camp that builds young player’s soccer ability!
