We are going to be taking pallet of water up! But they definitely could use some donations for the other items on the list!!!
Take a look below
STATEMENT FROM KRUM FIRE DEPARTMENT CHIEF ADAM NORTH:
Over the past several weeks, our firefighters have faced an exceptionally busy wildfire season. Since early August, members of the Krum Fire Department have been deployed to wildfires across Texas, assisting communities in need while our crews at home have continued to protect and serve the citizens of Krum. Throughout this period, the support from our community has been tremendous. Residents, businesses, and organizations have donated water, sports drinks, snacks, chapstick, and face wipes.
I would especially like to thank Krum ISD for organizing a water drive on behalf of our crews. The response was remarkable. We received so much donated water that we ran out of space to store it. Because of that generosity, we were also able to share a portion of the water with the Krum Police Department and our Public Works.
Our firefighters take great pride in serving Krum, but we also recognize our responsibility to assist our neighbors when they need us. Whether our crews are responding to an incident here at home or deployed hundreds of miles away, the support we receive from this community does not go unnoticed. On behalf of the Krum Fire Department, thank you to everyone who donated supplies, checked on our firefighters, or simply offered a word of encouragement. Your support means a great deal to our members and is sincerely appreciated.
Respectfully,
