Whether you’ve seen our Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at the Kirby-Hill House, or missed it in the past, then look no farther for fine food, drama, sinister motives, femme fatales, unorthodox gumshoes and other defective detectives. The Kirby Hill House is still performing our forty-ninth sold-out season with To Wake The Dead, by Lee Mueller. Our regular season is sold out, and we added two encore performances on March 27 and 28, 2026. Our location is 210 W. Main Street, in Kountze, Texas.
Go online at www.kirbyhillhouse.com to get your tickets to see To Wake The Dead. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7 p.m. All seats are reserved, and we will sell out soon. There are only a handful of seats left. This play is directed by Basel and Ruthanne! Cassidy. If you’ve attended our show in the past, you know it’s going to be a grand experience. If you’ve never seen us in action before, well, hang onto your fedora, and come check us out. No one else in the country can offer a delectable forty-ninth continuous sold-out season of Murder Mystery presented in a mansion. You'll be treated to a scrumptious seven-course meal, coffee and dessert. (Our menu is, well, to die for!) So dress in your favorite vintage fashions, grab your magnifying glass and solve this case that will keep you guessing, and laughing, till the end. A truly legendary event; stylish linen, stunning décor and china service, uproariously funny and, oh yes: delicious. We’ve been producing great theater here in Kountze so long, no one knows when we started, but they sincerely hope we don’t stop. We can accommodate your diet restrictions, call Rose at 409-246-8000 for more on that.
