This is exactly why I started the Nomar & Mia Compassion Fund.
During the last six months of Mia's life, it felt like we were constantly at the vet — kidney disease, lymphoma, mobility issues, not eating, tooth pain. There were visits, tests, medications...a lot.
I was fortunate that I could afford to get her the care she needed.
A lot of people can't.
No one should have to make a decision about a pet they love simply because they don't have enough money.
The Nomar & Mia Compassion Endowment is now at $12,597 of the $25,000 needed to fully fund it. Until we reach $25K, the fund can't begin helping pet families.
That's why I'm pushing so hard with Tails on Trails this year.
You can help by hiking with us October 24, choosing Hike From Anywhere, making a donation, or simply sharing this with someone who might want to help.
