We had a great time this morning supporting the next generation of filmmakers at Green Magnet Academy in East Knoxville! These talented 5th graders created several film projects for our Visit Knoxville Film Office to judge. "Hot Hands" was the winner in the stop-motion category, and "Choosing Green" was the documentary winner. It's exciting to see their artistic passion and we hope to have more opportunities to stay involved with the filmmakers of tomorrow!

Tropical Park, winner of the Jury Prize in our 2025 American Regional Cinema competition, will be having its NYC premiere in the prestigious First Look series at the Museum of the Moving Image. "The guiding ethos of First Look is openness, curiosity, discovery, aiming to expose audiences to new art, artists to new audiences, and everyone to different methods, perspectives, interrogations, and encounters."
