Eleven regulars and one first timer (welcome Timothy) crossed the finish line in event #264! It was a humid morning but the rain held off.

A highlight of the morning was celebrating our own Martin's 100th Parkrun! Martin already passed his 50th volunteer milestone. He can often be seen racing one (or two) of his daughters on the course. Congratulations Martin! Photos of Martin rocking his 100th milestone tiara below.

Milestone Alert! 💜

Congratulations to Matthew and Monica who both hit their 25 runs milestone a few weeks ago! They both have such positive energy and are often cheering on each other and our other runners. Matthew and Monica both hold very high age grading scores with Matthew ‘s PB clocking in at 73.66% and Monica’s PB clocking in at 89.33%! 🏃🏃‍♀️

Participants enjoyed a lovely, cool spring morning. We had:

33 Runners and Walkers
6 PBs (congratulations to Ian, Wendy, Jesse, James, Bill, and first-finisher Evan who has crushed several PBs recently)
2 first timers
Visitors from NC, KY, and the UK!

Thanks as always to our volunteers! We have plenty of volunteer spots available in coming weeks and will be looking especially for Run Directors during the summer months. Can you help?
