Coming down the home stretch of the project season. T- 6 weeks to get things wrapped up, but you know me, going to squeeze everything I can into that time frame! 😂😂. Hoping the 2026 couples enjoy the upgrades!

Our hearts go out to the Tipon family who lost their mill yesterday to a fire. We ask if you need any boards or milling to still contact them as they are still open as they deal with this tragic loss.

A little back story. It’s a 3 generation sawmill family and they provided nearly all the wood for the bank barn, and the soon to be started corn crib reno.

The first time I met the elder Tipon he immediately had a connection to the property, because it was not the first time here. He actually worked with Mr. Miller in the 60s- early 70s who owned the property prior to the Speaks taking ownership. Mr. Tipon actually helped install the bridge that so many take picture on leading across the creek. Since than we have continued to support them for all our fencing and barn boards, posts and lumber needs.

Big day on Friday! Ceiling wood came in from the mill in Michigan! Install starting in a few days. ❤️

I hear I haven’t posted enough out on this page for the future brides! 😂. I am sorry. Here are some updates on the inside. Insulation complete, sidewall boards are about a week and half away from completion. Next will be the ceiling. Just awaiting that wood delivery!

Drill rig is here doing its thing! Place will look a mess for 2 months!

Just a little update on the barn! Wood being installed on the walls after some spray insulation. We have opted for geothermal for the HVAC to be environmentally friendly, and saves $ in the long run. It’s a big place to heat and AC, so should help us keep the price point decent.

We look forward to sharing a lot more in the near future, but here are a few sneak peeks
