We are happy to announce that Applications are now available for the 2026 Covenant Center Art show. Applications have been mailed to those who entered the past couple of years or added their name to our mailing list. Online applications (or download to print) are also available to EVERYONE on our website

NEW THIS YEAR! We have had several inquiries over the past couple years about younger students showing interest in submitting their art or photos This year, we have opened a category for ELEMENTARY children (completing grades 4 thru 6). These ELEMENTARY entries are FREE to enter and will not be judged this year. This is simply an opportunity to share their talent in a non-judged environment. PLEASE share this information with those with children / grandchildren who may be interested.

The judge of the Covenant Center Art Show this year (Brian R Jones -Founder – The Artists Hand Gallery, Indiana, PA) sent us Adjudication notes beginning with the following....

Thank you for the opportunity to review the talented work of so many artists in your community. It gives me great pleasure to consider the imaginations and creativity gathered in their collected expressions. Jurying this show was a pleasurable challenge. There is an abundance of excellent amateur and professional work here. In many cases, it was difficult to distinguish the difference. Kudos to these artists, their trainers, and their muses.

Congratulations to EVERYONE! You all have given Armstrong County another great show of art and photography.

Stop in to appreciate all the entries and cast a vote for your favorite to receive a PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD on Sunday.

Of the 215 displayed pieces, over 150 of them are FOR SALE!!!!! Stop in and start your Christmas shopping!

All the winners have been notified via email ! A full list of all winners will be available soon. If you are the artist of one of the wonderful entries, don't forget the "Meet & Greet" with the other artists and photographers on Wednesday 6:00 PM. The Show opens to the public Thursday about 5:00.

The judging occurred this morning!!! Stay tuned for the results~They will be worth the wait. Come see all the great artwork at the Folk Festival Covenant Center Art Show The art is amazing!

Remember to have your entries into the Covenant Center (332 N. Water St Kittanning) tomorrow (Sunday July 27) between 11:30 and 1:30. They should be ready for hanging and have an identifcation card on the back with your name, address, phone and Title of entry and price if for sale! See you there!
