Violet's grandfather served as a physician in WW2 in the Philippines. He lived through it.

As you're eating BBQ and drinking beer or whatever is your beverage of choice, please save a little gratitude for the soldiers, sailors, and others who gave their lives so we could have the freedom here to be whoever we dream we can be ... When we each suck it up and make the choice to do it.

Not saying it's easy. It is possible though!

Who hates to mow their lawn? We've got an alternative for you!

Violet's Garage has a number of Florida native plants in the garden that we planted to attract pollinators. This one is turkey tangle frog fruit. It is a host plant for several Florida native butterflies and a nectar plant for many more. And a great ground cover.

So why haven't we cut it back when it's growing over our front entrance? We're saving some for you!

If you want some cuttings just let us know! You can take one of these cuttings, cut into segments, let them grow and easily cover a lawn area in a year or so

Stop by when we're open this week, bring clippers

We do need to trim it but if we can share it before we trim it that would be better! Violet's Venom Brewery
