Well, the dirt is moving, and apparently, so is the rumor mill! 😂

We hate to disappoint everyone who has been putting their detective skills to work, but we promise it’s nothing nearly as exciting as some of the theories floating around town.

Ameren UE needs a place to store vehicles and equipment while they complete a project at another location, so they’ll be utilizing some of our back acreage.

That’s it. That’s the big secret.

No mystery development. No top-secret construction project. Just some dirt work and a temporary parking spot for some equipment.

But we sure do appreciate everyone keeping an eye on the fairgrounds! Y’all had us wondering what we were building for a minute!

Thanks for keeping the NEMO Fairgrounds the talk of the town! ❤️
