Help make this summer one to remember! ☀️🎨

Our Summer Camp program provides creative experiences that inspire young artists, build confidence, and encourage imagination. We are collecting supplies to help make camp the best it can be for our students.

If you’d like to support our campers, we are currently seeking donations of items on our Summer Camp Wish List. Every contribution, big or small, helps us provide a fun and enriching experience for local children.

Thank you for supporting the arts and investing in the next generation of creative minds! ❤️

For more information or to arrange a donation, please contact CCA at 252-527-2517 or stop by The Arts Center.

Join the worldwide celebration of music! Make Music Day is a free celebration of music around the world on June 21st in more than 1,000 cities in 120 countries.
This is an opportunity to sing in a choir for just a day! Build community, make some new friends, and raise our voices together as one. You do not have to be a professional vocalist to join in – all skill levels and ages welcome. This is a fun, judgment-free zone! In addition to singing “Pure Imagination” from W***y Wonka, we’ll:
• Play some fun singing games, and do warmups
• Work through the piece section by section
• Break down the lyrics and emotions at play in the song
• Shape some key musical moments
• Record some casual rehearsal videos of the piece to share with the community. By attending, you consent to being a part of that media, some of which may be posted online.
Sheet music will be available as a learning resource before the event by emailing [email protected]. Our collective goal is to practice the parts ahead of time so that we might dive right into the music. You don’t have to memorize the piece, but the stronger we are in our parts coming in, the more we'll be able to really dig into the fun stuff!
This session will be facilitated by CCA’s TAPS Choir Director, Marcus Jones.
