Be it a yard sale, tag sale, garage sale, auctions, flea markets or even the side of the road! My most favorite chair to cane is one someone has asked me to recane for them. It's preserving their memories through the chair or restoring the lost memories meaningful only to them. I love watching their facial expressions change when they see the chair restored. Immediately a smile begins and I can se

e their brains recalling the memories of the past coming back into focus....such a joy to share. So, I hope people will see the beauty in each strand of cane woven into each seat and will want to start their own traditions and make their own memories through a caned rocker, or chair.
