The Holiday Magic is ON, Kimball! 🎄❄️

We know it’s cold, but nothing can freeze the holiday spirit! The Kimball Area Holiday Kickoff is happening TODAY, so layer up, grab a thermos, and join us for a night of festive fun.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:
• 4 PM: Santa visits, kids’ crafts, local vendors, and FREE hot dogs, hot chocolate, and cookies to keep you warm!
• 7 PM: The Holiday Parade lights up Kimball. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to help fill Santa’s sleigh for Toys for Tots, all donations stay right here in town!

🎄 The Kimball Area Holiday Kickoff is happening Friday, November 28!
We’re excited to bring our community together once again for an evening of holiday spirit, lights, and celebration right here in Kimball.
Our full event flyer is below - feel free to share it with friends, family, and neighbors to help spread the word.
We are also welcoming businesses, organizations, clubs, and individuals interested in entering a float in this year’s parade. It’s a fun way to be involved and show your holiday spirit!

Get Ready for the Holiday Train! 🚂✨

This Saturday, December 14th, the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will light up Kimball with live music, festive vibes, and an incredible chance to give back.

Bring your donations for the Kimball Food Shelf and grab some cocoa!

Arriving around 8:55 pm
Show starts around 9:00 pm

‼️ The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is coming TO KIMBALL THIS SATURDAY on its annual ride through the Northern US, bringing live entertainment & Christmas cheer in exchange for donations to local food banks.

‼️ The City has placed food shelf boxes outside of city hall today, so feel free to donate early. But there will be boxes lite up and out for donations the night of the train as well. If you are able & willing this Holiday season please place the donations in these boxes to help contribute to the local Kimball Food Shelf. All donations stay within the community.

‼️ The Kimball American Legion graciously volunteered to serve Hot Cocoa, Hot Cider & cookies Saturday night before the train, starting at 7:30 pm. Make sure to stop by and thank them!

‼️The Train will be stopping on the railroad tracks on Main St/Highway 15. The stage doors will be open on the SOUTH side of the tracks, so please ensure you are across the tracks before the train arrives, or you will miss the show. Please follow the signs for areas where parking is prohibited. The Fire Dept will be on the roads trafficking the detour starting at 8:30 pm.

Thanks to the amazing generosity of our community and the overwhelming number of toys collected at our offices and during the Holiday Kickoff Parade, we’re thrilled to announce a Toy Distribution Night!

When: December 14th, 3 PM – 7 PM
Where: Willow Creek Park Shelter, 210 Main St S, Kimball

Despite the chilly temps, the Kimball Area Holiday Kickoff was filled with warmth, laughter, and holiday cheer! From the festive floats to the smiles on everyone’s faces, it was truly a night to remember.

A HUGE thank you to all the volunteers who braved the cold to make this event a success, and to every business, group, and individual who participated in the parade - you lit up the streets and made the magic come alive!

To everyone who joined us, bundled up and full of holiday spirit, thank you for making this a special kickoff to the season. Kimball, you never fail to amaze us with your community pride!

Santa himself has a special announcement! He’s on his way to Willow Creek Park for the Holiday Kickoff! Catch him from 4-6:30 PM to share your holiday wishes, snap a photo, and enjoy the festive fun before he leads the Holiday Parade at 7 PM. Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help fill Santa’s sleigh for Toys for Tots—all donations stay in Kimball to support local families!
