TLF Event Host Recommendations: Event Tip #5
COMMUNICATE
This goes for any event or position held in a business. You have to learn effective communication. I always ask myself - does my message have meaning? What is the purpose of my email, message, post etc? Am I communicating effectively? As a business owner, business is business, but be mindful of what you’re trying to say and to who. Another key tip, ending a conversation by simply not replying is never a good thing. Acknowledge and rock on! 🤘🏽
COMMUNICATION IS KEY.

TLF Event Host Recommendations: Event Tip #4
LET PEOPLE SHINE.
What a beautiful world we live in. There are so many ways to support other businesses while not dimming your own light. One of my favorite parts of being an event host is seeing others shine! It’s really something to see. It’s a HUGE part of why I host events. So, think of that as you host events/markets, how can I support them with my event? They are their own people and their success is for them to celebrate 💕🤘🏽

TLF Event Host Recommendations: Event Tip #3
THINK IT THROUGH.
Take the time to plan! You should not rush any plan or post. Slow down and give yourself plenty of time to proofread or analyze everything, at least once. When you plan an event think of its purpose and focus on that! The same goes for every post you do, WHAT and WHY did you post it? What are you trying to do or invoke in someone, if anything at all? Remember it’s your business tied to that event, post, comment, repost, etc.

DON’T FORCE IT.
You want people to attend freely and by choice. Don’t push people to join your events, if they want to, you’ll know. Focus your time and efforts on the people who support your vision! Again, stay true to who you are and your character will draw in like-minded people and businesses.

TLF Event Host Recommendations: Event Tip #1
BE CONSISTENT.
Be true to who you are and attack each event the same. You have to be fair and treat everyone the same. Stick to your plan on how and when you want your events to take place. Try your best to narrow down the details before you kick off any event. Change is hard for anyone, but if you keep it the same…your people will come.
