The 6th Annual Mile 0 Fest KEY WEST is scheduled for 2023. Located on the island of Key West, Florida, this young festival boasts 5 days of music & events from more than 70 of your favorite Texas & Oklahoma Red-Dirt and Americana bands; beaches, bands and beer… what else is there?!! Key West is also home to world-class fishing, water-sports & sight-seeing adventures! Our fourth year promises to deliver all the awesomeness you’ve come to love about other festivals without the huge crowds, lines and hassles of an oversold show. Another incredible Appalachian songwriter has entered the Mile 0 Fest 2027 chat. Welcome Jordan Lee.

Out of Middlesboro, Kentucky, right in the shadow of the Cumberland Gap, Jordan writes the kind of thoughtful, well-built songs that make you actually listen to the words. Some are about people he grew up around, some are made up, some are just him working through his own stuff. He grew up on John Prine, Guy Clark, and John Hiatt, and you can tell. A songwriter’s songwriter, through and through.

Go spend some time with his catalog before January. The writing holds up.

Some voices just stop you in your tracks. Emily Jamerson has one of them.

Straight out of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Emily grew up on Sunday afternoons full of old mountain songs and gospel, and you can hear every bit of it when she sings. She writes about family, love, and growing into yourself, with influences like Loretta Lynn, John Prine, and Kacey Musgraves running through it. Pure Eastern Kentucky, start to finish.

She’s on the Mile 0 Fest 2027 lineup. Do yourself a favor and go listen before January. You’ll be glad you got there first.

Straight out of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, he writes the kind of raw, true Appalachian songs that don’t flinch, stories about home, hardship, and the people and places that shaped him. He’s already earning his spot in the lineage of Kentucky greats, and he did it the old-fashioned way: on the strength of the songwriting and some damn fine music.
