Come and visit our new Kent sign! Local artist, Alex Sewell received a grant from the Putnam Arts Council to execute a 'Welcome to the town of Kent' mural celebrating many of our local Kent attractions with the help of two young, local painters - Bianca Makaj and Valentine Kocaj.

Now situated outside on Route 52! Come and search for your favorite nature spots and community landmarks.

This project was made possible, in part, through the Putnam Arts Council’s Arts Link Grant Program with public funds provided through the NY State Council on the Arts with support from the Governor's Office and the NY State Legislature.

Dia de los Mu***os/ Day of the Dead Celebration this Sunday!!

From 3-5pm this Sunday (November 1st), join us in celebrating Dia de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), inspired by the beloved children’s movie “Coco.” This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to honor and remember loved ones.

**Crafts and Activities:**

Bring your children for fun crafts and dancing! Participants are encouraged to bring a photo or memento of an ancestor or pet they would like to commemorate. Photos and offerings can be placed on a community altar or used to create a mini ofrenda to take home. (Items can be picked up by appointment the following day or the next week)

Watch a few dancers in a pop-up performance and join in. Can you dance like a skeleton or a monster? Join us to find out!

**Craft Stations:**

Children can enjoy crafting activities, including making paper flowers, assembling paper skeleton bones, and temporary tattoos.

**Vendors and Food:**

A selection of vendors will be selling handmade items. Empanadas, bread and snacks will also be available for purchase.

Admission is free for all ages (Donations Welcome)

Hooked Opening Tomorrow!
A family and a community are torn apart in Brooklyn when a longshoreman decides to take on corruption in his union.
Danbury based actor Paul Bomba ("Law and Order") plays ten roles in a drama set in the dangerous waterfront world of 1950's Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Putnam Falls for Dance Weekend Postponed due to weather.

Unfortunately, due to the rainy forecast we have had to postpone this weekend's events until *next* weekend, October 3rd & 4th.

On Saturday 3rd, starting at 4:30pm, Arts on the Lake's company in residence, PCDP, presents dances inspired by the 250th anniversary of our country's Declaration of Independence and Revolution.

From 6:30pm, join us for a fundraising after-party in the lower gallery. Tickets, for both the performance and reception can be purchased on our website using the link below. Tickets purchased for September 26th & 27th will, of course, still be valid.

On Sunday the 4th, starting at 2:30pm, join us for the final OPEN STAGE: Revolution! of the season, showcasing new and in-progress choreographic works. Admission for the Sunday performance is free, however we encourage all attendees to donate as they can so we can continue these programs.
