Clinics are one of the best parts of BAPM, and we have a great lineup again this year. First up will be Cyrus Gillespie with a great modeler-oriented clinic on Espee's GP9 fleet. These locomotives were a staple on the SP in local service all over the system, and if you model the SP, you likely need some in your loco fleet.

Cyrus will provide an overview of the SP's Geep 9 fleet and highlight the production differences over the years. His photo-rich presentation will leave you eager to load some scarlet and gray into your airbrush and get busy.

WE'RE ALMOST THERE! Less than one week to go 'til BAPM 2026! IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Bay Area Prototype Modelers Meet (BAPM) will be moving to a new location this year. The event is still scheduled for the same day: Saturday June 27, 9am to 5pm.

The new location will be at the Arlington Community Church above El Cerrito. The address is 52 Arlington St, Kensington CA. Here's a map link:

Hello BAPM fans! 2026 is rapidly rolling through the calendar and that means it's time - among other things - to start thinking about BAPM!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at St. David’s School Hall, 871 Sonoma St., Richmond, CA 94805. The event will run from 9AM-5PM this year.

We'll have more details to share on clinics and manufacturers at this year's event. Suffice to say we have some great options shaping up.

We're working on some "technical difficulties" with our website right now, but while we get that sorted, watch this space, and make plans to join us this summer!
