WOW!!! I am going to make a bold statement right off the start: this book needs to be read by and in the home of every Christian. Crafted with a beautiful balance of love, seriousness, and whimsical humor, this book eloquently highlights the complexity of quite possibly the biggest blindspot that we have in all of Christianity - our "entertainment".
In no area of our lives have we been so willingly compromised by the full-on spiritual assault of the enemy and yet we don't even realize it. This book was a total wake-up call for me as I realized page after page how I, like millions of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, have been not only lulled to sleep, but lead to the slaughter of our own making while we personally fund the trip. Whats more is we have even crafted our worship and church services around this vile cocktail, inviting in the enemy with open arms.
With all of that said, the Robinsons' have not left us in the wilderness with no hope. Detailed breakdowns of alternate activities that are God-honoring can be found within these pages and tons of examples of how to "do something real, with someone real" are given.
If you are anything like me, you will find this book to be the wake-up call, motivation, and remedy needed to break the enemies secret stronghold in your life and to cease being an "entertainment ju**ie".
