I have two open spots for my upcoming April 17-19 hosted weekend at the Kennett Crafters retreat House. If you have never attended one of my hosted weekends now is your chance to bring a fried and join my fun group. The weekend runs either Friday at noon till Sunday at 5 for $180 which 5 meals. A growing number of overworked travelers are seeking rejuvenation in retreats and tours that focus on connection and creativity: blockprinting in Finland or India, sewing in England, embroidery in Italy.

Sometimes called slowcations, these trips sell themselves as the opposite of the soul-sucking “follow-the-flag” tours.

The trips are particularly appealing to solo women travelers, a long overlooked, but rapidly growing, segment of the travel market.

❄️📸 Winter storms and freezing temps are rolling in this weekend… which means it’s officially STAY IN & SCRAPBOOK weather! 📸❄️

If you’re snowed in, iced in, or just not leaving the house because it’s too cold for that, this is your sign to:
☕ Make something warm to drink
✂️ Pull out your supplies
📚 And make some serious progress on your albums

✨ The forecast calls for:
✔️ Paper piles
✔️ Cozy layers

I know it’s last minute but sometimes that works best for some people. I just had a last minute cancellation for my Black Friday scrapbook/craft weekend at the Kennett crafter Retreat house in Kennett square PA. The weekend runs from noon on Friday to 5 pm Monday. The cost is $130 and includes all your meals for Saturday- Sunday lunch. Friday night dinner is TBD. Let me know if you would like to join my group. You will really have fun.
