Lights of Joy, 2026 is officially under construction for the 2026 Christmas season. This year will be better than ever with more than 1.2 million lights. We continue to be the largest residential display in Georgia. Beginning on Sunday, November 29th through Tuesday, December 29th. 6pm until 10pm each night.

French people love fireworks. This was the display on Friday the 24th. They cancelled them on the 13th because of dry weather and fire hazard. They waited until the 24th when the wind was blowing directly at the buildings to launch the display. Very many forest fires in the area. Nothing is logical with government.

Lights of Joy is celebrating the 101st birthday of Joy. Gone since 2004 , her legacy lives on through Lights of Joy.

Lights of Joy during the Spring. These will be covered in lights in December.

The late blooming azaleas were at their peak on Good Friday and Saturday this year. The most beautiful year ever for our azaleas. Weather was perfect for them this year.

Lights of Joy in the Spring. This is a walk across the front at the end of the early blooming azaleas. These will all be covered in lights in December.
Work on Lights of Joy actually begins in February. Lights that are brought in are tested and if they don’t work, we try to repair them. So far, Sherrie has successfully repaired 358 strings of lights. More will be brought in for repair when we begin working on the trees in August.
