After closely monitoring the weather, and out of an abundance of caution, the tethered balloon rides will not take place this evening. Even without the tethered rides, we will still have many great attractions and family-friendly activities that should be able to continue during tonight’s event.

We want to thank everyone for a great first night of Owl-O-Ween 2019.

We are closely monitoring all available forecasts. Rain and wind appear to continue throughout the day today, but the weather is still tracking to improve around dusk.

Hot air balloons are very weather dependent, and high wind gusts are particularly concerning for tethered rides. Even if the balloons are unable to go up, we will still have many great attractions and family-friendly activities that should still be able to continue.

We will continue to monitor the situation to keep everyone safe and hope to have a great Saturday for Owl-O-Ween.

As the weather in the Gulf continues to form, we are closely monitoring all available forecasts.

Rain and wind appear imminent throughout the day on Saturday, but chances lessen around dusk. As hot-air balloons are very weather-sensitive, we want everyone to have an opportunity to enjoy the balloons. Your Owl-O-Ween ticket for Saturday will be valid for entry tonight; however, parking passes remain specific for each day.

Tonight’s conditions appear very favorable and we expect great fall festival weather!

Even if the balloons are unable to go up tomorrow, we still have many great attractions and family-friendly activities that will be able to continue.

We hope to see you for a great Owl-O-Ween 2019!

On behalf of Owl-O-Ween we would like to announce that due to the chance of inclement weather we will be honoring Saturday night tickets tonight, Friday October 18th. Upon arrival to the event your Saturday ticket will be scanned in for tonight’s event, but keep in mind the tickets are only valid for one night of the festival. Unfortunately, Saturday parking will NOT be able to be honored for Friday night, be sure to contact our box office to purchase parking passes or order them online at owloween.com.
