The first track recorded in honor of and for my dear Sandy, almost 7 weeks without you, it seems like a year, somehow.

Just my voice, raw, but real and exactly as I sang this to you.

Started recording Dappled Sunlight last night, it was Sandy's favorite, at least of my tracks.

I plan a full "studio" version at some point, but right now going for a single take, A Ca****la (just my voice), no overdubs, no effects, just me, my mic through my tube-pre and the recorder.

I should have it ready soon.

It's not rock though, it's a love song, ballad kinda thing. But it is pretty sweet and absolutely real.

Still looking for a definite venue and date so I can confirm with a number of artists their availability.

These sort of events really tend to be a draw, but not without a firm venue, a date and the ability for artists to work out their calendars around it.

If anyone has any suggestions for a venue with a positive attitude, do let me know.

Best venue so far is my frickin' home studio, it's free and has better sound than any club I've been in...

So there will be some livestreams coming and still working on the rest.

Still plenty of time, since everyone wanted to wait until October/November to try to have the memorial show, but need to work harder on fundraising so the event can actually take place in a venue.

Dates are still to be decided, however, I'm very happy to announce that this will be happening with likely multiple events and that long time, close friend of Sandy, Tommy Thompson, is helping organize and will be performing.
