Planning is in full swing for the 40th year of the festival. Exciting things are happening - some old and some new! You won't want to miss this year's festival. Returning contests include The Home Decorating Contest, Two-Man Cross Cut Saw, The Baking Contest, The Apple Seed Spitting, and Frog Flippin' (no frogs are harmed in the flip). The beard growing contest - while it was done years and years ago, it hasn't made a debut for over 20 years. And one of the many things added this year - an Apple Trail Scavenger Hunt. Details will be released in the coming weeks so stay tuned!

Do you collect the anniversary year mugs from the Apple Festival?? This year's mug is expected for delivery this week! Watch for pop-up opportunities to snag one before the festival. Several ideas are in the works, and this is just the beginning of what the 40th festival will offer the community!

The Apple Festival page has had several "individuals" solicit for vendors on comments - telling you to dm for festival vendor information, this is not the Apple Festival. The Apple Festival committee recently got together to enjoy a meal and recap the 2025 festival and also start discussing the 2026 festival. The committee is excited to begin the planning for 2026 and the 40th anniversary of the festival.

As we begin to plan, we need committee members! Community minded individuals that love the festival.

Areas to join:
Board members - attend meetings, help with decision making and weekend of festival.

Children's area coordinator - Work with previous coordinator on organizing and overseeing children's area crafts.

New food vendors - Food vendors that offer a unique food item, can serve large numbers of people and be able to follow the time period requirements for booth and costuming.
