The Mt. Ayr sesquicentennial is September 20-21. They have asked me to line up some antique hand corn shellers. Hand grain cleaners and any other small antiques to demonstrate. Can bring tractors and equipment also to show. We will have the street on the south west corner of the square all the way into the Armstrong parking lot. Let me know what you want to bring. It will be a fun time. I ran the corn pickers the last couple day so fall is coming. Enjoy the 77 Oliver and the Oliver picker. Also ran the pre war M and international picker.

The 10th annual Blackmore corner tractor pull is Saturday night July 19th. Bring anything from small farm tractor to super farm tractor. Pickups and semis. All will pull. Pull starts at 6:00 pm and great food by Doug and Gina Still. Come and watch two tracks of pulling go nonstop action. See you there. Thanks again

With all the rain the farm show demonstration fields are soft and the fields around we cannot get mowed and baled with more rain over this weekend and again middle of next week. We will just be having the tractor pull at 6pm on Saturday July 19th. Doug and Gina Still will be serving their great food for the tractor pull. It will be a two sled pull with Dolecheck farms and Diagonal Lions sled for non stop pulling action. Hope to see everyone there. We will have a corn picking day on the fields that would have been chopped later in the fall. We will set up a date and get the word out. Thank you!!

Blackmore corner antique farm show wants to thank everyone for coming to watch the equipment demonstrations. The Dolecheck family sends a special thanks to everyone for bringing equipment. It was a wonderful 2024 show. Next years show will be the tenth anniversary. Here’s just a few of the highlights Linda captured this weekend.

Blackmore corner antique farm show is serving a Big Country Breakfast both Saturday and Sunday morning at eight o’clock am. Come and enjoy a big breakfast and be ready to go to the fields for a full day of field demonstrations with the antique equipment.

We had a mix up on dates for the Diagonal lions pulling sled. It will be coming to Blackmore corner tractor pull next Saturday night the 20th. We will be running two tracks again so everyone tune up your antiques to the hot rod pickups and smoker tractors. Starts at six pm and Still Smokin BBQ will be serving delicious food all night.

Saturday July 20th will be breakfast at the shop and a full day of field demonstrations. Come out Sunday the 21st for all the action also. Still Smokin BBQ will be serving both days.
