NWSS 2026 is officially in the books! What an incredible couple of days for our royalty, from greeting guests before the rodeos and getting kids ready for mutton busting, to touring the brand new Legacy Building. Every moment was filled with smiles, memories, and so much fun. We had an absolute blast and are so thankful for the experiences and people that made it all possible!

The SEWC Royalty had the best time helping with mutton busting at the NWSS rodeo! From getting the kids suited up and stretched to cheering them on as they rode their sheep, it was such a fun experience watching so many smiles and brave little riders take the arena.

The other day, our Queen, Anastyn Perez, had an amazing day at the National Western Stock Show! She enjoyed a meet & greet with and , talking all things rodeo. She was also given the incredible opportunity to ride in the Chevron hitch during the afternoon rodeo!

Today our royalty along with several other local rodeo royalty programs were in the National Western Stock Show kick off parade. They had so much fun interacting with the public and other royalty. It was a wonderful way to begin stock show and they can’t wait for the best 16 days in January staring on Saturday!

Tonight SEWC Royalty signed autographs, interacted with the community, and drove in the parade at Christmas in Keenesburg. This is such an amazing event for the royalty each year, allowing us to meet many people in the community. We are so thankful for our sponsor representing the western way of life and providing us with high quality hats! We are also grateful for supplying us with amazing royalty jackets during the winter season! Finally, a thank you to for letting us use their facilities. Without our supporters we wouldn’t be able to have such amazing opportunities!
