Q. What gate do I use to enter the fairgrounds?
A. Gate 3, stop at the vet checking tent.
Q. Are their class number limits for breeding classed.
A. No, we will show every breed as long as at least one is registered per breed.
Q. Will animals be vet checked?
A. Yes, a WV State Veterinarian will be checking animals upon arrival. Out of state animals must have health papers that are dated after May 13th, 2026.
Q. Do I have to register and pay through showman?
A. Yes, all entries are to be registered and paid through showman before coming to the registration table.
Q. Do I have to go to the registration table if I'm registered through showman?
A. Yes, you must go to the registration table to confirm your entries, show purebred registration papers, and receive your show number. (Please do not bring your animal to the registration table)
Q. What is my show number?
A. All showman will receive a number at registration. This number must be taken to the scales with your animal and be worn in your classes.
Q: Will there be a supply trailer on site?
A: Yes! Sullivan’s Show Supply will be set up.
Q. Will there be vendors?
A. The Glitzy Goats Boutique will be at our show.
Q: Will there be food available?
A: Yes! On Saturday. Feed Lot, Delicious Dishes, Ruritan will be onsite!
Q: Are health papers required?
A: Yes, unless your animals are housed in West Virginia.
Q: Are registration papers required to show a purebred?
A: Yes, and please bring them with you to check in.
Q: Will there be a photographer at the show?
A: Yes, Kendra Bolinger
Q. When does early registration close?
A. 11:59 pm on June 7th. After that there is an extra $20 fee per animal.
Q: Can we register the day of?
A: Yes, entry fees will be $50/head the day of the show for hogs, goats & lambs, Cattle is $70 per head.
Q: Will there be pens available?
A: Pen spaces first come, first serve. No tack pens will be available. Please clean your pen before you leave the fairgrounds.
Q. Are you supplying bedding?
A. No we are not supplying bedding. BYO Bedding. Exhibitors must clean their pens before departing the fairgrounds and put it in the roll off dumpster we are providing.
Q: Do I have to weigh my animals?
A: Every animal must be weighted on our scales by a show representative.
Q. Where are the scales?
A. Cattle Scales are by the registration table. Hog Scales are in the hog barn. Goats and Lambs can weigh on either scale.
Please obey scale traffic signs.
Q. What time can I weigh?
A. Scales are open Friday from 4pm - 8pm and Saturday from 6am-8am.
Q: Where can I unload my animals?
A. If you are showing from the barn, unloading is at the far end of the barn past the food vendors. After unloading, please move your trucks and trailers to the field. There is no parking aloud around the barns or in between the barns or showrings.
Q. Is there premium parking?
A. Yes, these spaces are sold out
Q. Are you having t-shirts this year?
A. Yes, they are $15 each and will be available by the registration table
Q. When will class lists be posted?
A. Class lists will be posted by the announcer's booth at each ring and on showman after all animals are weighed.
Q. Where can we get our premium $$$$?
A. Premiums can be picked up at the registration table after winners are logged into showman.
