We are thrilled to announce that the City of Kearney is officially taking the lead on our beloved community farmers market! We’re building on the foundation you know and love to create an even more vibrant weekly destination at the park.
This transition brings exciting new opportunities — like a rotating selection of premier food trucks every single week! Now, you can stock your pantry with local goods and grab a delicious dinner for the family all in one stop. Come see how we’re growing together!
Support Your Neighbors
Our local vendors are the heart of the market. This year, you can browse a bounty of fresh produce, flowers and bedding plants from area farmers and handcrafted soap, shampoos and cakes from local artisans. Whether you’re looking for farm-fresh eggs for your weekend breakfast or a one-of-a-kind gift, you’ll find it right here in our own backyard. Supporting the market means supporting the families and small businesses that make Kearney so special.
Dinner is Served
Forget about cooking on Thursday nights! Each week, we’ve host a rotating selection of three premier food trucks to satisfy every craving. From savory BBQ and gourmet tacos to sweet treats, there’s always something new to try. Grab your dinner and find a spot at the picnic tables or spread a blanket on the lawn for the perfect alfresco dining experience.
Make a Splash at Lions Park
While you shop and eat, the kids can stay cool and burn off some energy at the Lions Park Splash Pad. It’s the ultimate destination for summer fun—open until 8 p.m. making it the perfect companion to your market visit. With the updated playground equipment nearby, the park truly becomes the community’s living room every Thursday night.
