To All Athletes and Parents;
Welcome to the 2020 Utah Challenge in Kaysville, UT. Our first event check-in on Saturday closes at 7:30 am. We will be there at 6:30 am for weapons check. There will be an additional weapons check available Friday evening at Valkyrie in Orem from 6:30-8:00pm (1471 W 1250 S #110 Orem, UT 84058). Out of town athletes please know that we will not start an event without out you over weapons check. We will work with you to insure that you are taken care of. :)
We will be testing masks, lame's, gloves, and bodycords. Gloves may not have holes. Athletes should have at least two weapons for their event, two bodycords, and are required to wear underarm protectors. Female foil fencers are required to use the fabric covered chest protectors. Male foil fencers must use covered chest protectors IF THEY CHOOSE TO USE ONE. Male fencers are not required to use chest protectors. Long socks are required.

Please bring your USA Fencing competitive membership card. You can access that card by logging into your USA Fencing account, click the profile icon on the top right of the page, and going to "Edit Profile". On the left hand side there is a list of actions including "My Membership Card". Click on that link and it will download automatically. Do this action on your smart phone and you can save it for future competitions.
If you haven't done so already, please take a picture of your athletes birth certificate and bring it. You can also upload a copy or proof of age to USA Fencing so that your child's birthdate is verified with USA Fencing and you will not need to worry about it again!
Athletes should arrive 30 mins prior to the close of check in. Upon arrival, athletes should check in at the registration desk. Following check in, if they have not already checked their equipment, they need to do so at the armory equipment check. The armory check will be directly next to the registration table. Athletes should be dressed in their competition gear, warmed up and ready to fence by 15 minutes after the close of their event check in. Any changes or delays of events will be announced at the tournament.
