2026 KATY FLATLAND CENTURY BIKE RIDE HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Earlier this year, the Northwest Cycling Club discovered significant discrepancies between the financial records presented to the board and the club’s actual finances. Since then, the board has been working to access accounts, verify assets, and review obligations.

With regret, the board has decided to cancel the 2026 Katy Flatlands Century Bike Ride to ensure proper stewardship. We are working to resolve these issues and hope to resume the ride in the future.

The start of this year's KFC is just a few days away!

While we place signs along the route to guide riders, they can sometimes blow over or fail to stay in the ground. To avoid getting lost, please download the Ride with GPS or Strava file to your bike computer—this is the most reliable method. If you don’t have a bike computer, we've uploaded PDF maps and cue sheets with turn-by-turn directions you an print and take with you.

Hope you're ready to ride this weekend!!

For this year's ride, we will have 7 Rest Stops for you to rest and refuel, but these will open and close on a rolling schedule. See the Open and Close times for each Rest Stop below, as well as the routes which will pass by each location.

We will also have 39 Police Officers controlling 24 key intersections along this year's KFC. As with the Rest Stops, these intersections will open and close on a rolling schedule.

Attention Riders planning to ride the 100 or 78 mile routes.

We had to make a slight change to the 100 and 78 Mile routes due to roadwork on Twinwood Pkwy between Hunt Rd and FM 359. Updated links to the new maps, (v2), are now available on the KFC.Bike website for both Ride with GPS and Strava.

This change doesn't impact the 19, 35, 49 or 65 Mile routes.

2025 Bluebonnet Express **Route Updates** Due To Road Construction (20 Mile & 37 Mile Routes)

Due to road construction in the Waller area, we have modified the 20.7- and 37.8-mile routes to ensure rider safety. Riders will now follow Old Washington instead of Business 290.
