Kansas City Folk Festival KC Folk Fest is a free city festival that celebrates the music, arts and crafts of our neighborhood, region and beyond.

Often defying definition, folk festivals are considered a “people's fest" that celebrate the music and arts of a particular place. They are also a hub for sharing local resources and spotlighting neighborhoods, sustainability, creative collaborations, traditional and contemporary handmade crafts, food, and D-I-Y culture.

Julia Haile is an Indie Soul singer and song-writer based in Kansas City. Delivering her authentic and elegant voice to projects including Hi-Lux, The Buhs, and The Goodfoot, Haile fuses jazz, soul and r&b into unique tonal offerings. Her solo musical journey has taken her across seas and genres with one goal: To blend tradition and intuition while still giving you music to love.
