ATTENTION ALL KANE COUNTY SCALLYWAGS & PIRATE CREWS!
The countdown to our annual Kanab Spooktacular Extravaganza has officially begun, but a ghostly crew has hijacked the town!

A legendary pirate treasure has been scattered across the land, and the Captain’s ledger reveals it is time to open the DEAD MAN’S CHEST! ✨

Starting Monday, October 26, 2026, the hunt is officially ON. Do you have what it takes to track down the hidden pieces of 10 at each spot and claim your entries into the grand prize drawing? Here is how to play:

THE RULES OF THE RED ROCK SEAS:
1. Watch Our Social Media: Every day starting Monday, October 26th, we will drop riddles pointing to one or two local businesses per day across Kane County.
2. Race Against the Clock: The treasure won't wait forever! The coins will only be available at the featured businesses during a strict 2- 3 hour window listed in
each daily post.
3. Say the Secret Passphrase: March right up to the cashier —no purchase necessary, although it would be nice—and look them dead in the eye to declare the secret words: "I'm here to collect for the Dead Man's Chest!" to claim your shiny gold doubloon. (Limit one coin per pirate crew, per stop!)
4. Bring Your Loot to the Event: Keep your gold safe in your pouch! Bring all your collected pirate gold to the Kanab Event Center on Friday, October 30th during the
Spooktacular event 5PM-8PM for your entries for the Grand Prize drawing!

Keep your spyglasses polished and your compasses set. The first set of clues drops on Monday morning, October 26th!

Grand Prize drawing will be held Oct 30th at the Kanab Event Center at 8pm for Polar Express Tickets for a family of four (4). Winner will recieve a vouchure to use when booking their seats via our online ticketing portal

Halloween Spooktacular Extravaganza!! October 30th and 31st at the Kanab Center in Kanab, Utah.

We are super excited to bring you, what we hope will become a tradition you'll love, Halloween Chalk Walk.

CHALK WALK Monday Oct 26th 1pm to 6pm at the Kanab Event Center. Come stoll the art and vote for your favorites.

ARTISTS: Registration is Friday Oct 23rd from 10am til 3pm. Free Entry. Sidewalk chalk is supplied by the Kane County Events Team while supplies last. Artists need to provide another needed materials/tools.

Chalking your section can begin Oct 23rd and will end promptly at noon on Oct 26th.

THEME is Haunted Pirates. Chalk art that ties into the theme only will be judged (there is alot of wiggle room) BUT ALL Halloween Chalk art is welcome.

As part of Kane Countys Heritage Days of Summer... "There's ALWAYS Something To Do in Kane County" thats truth!

This week at the KEC, we have our normal line up with Pickleball, basketball and and rehersals open rehersals. We have our wednesday night Market and Saturday Morning market

You'll also enjoy Friday Night Bingo in the Pavillion- Bring a Candy Bar to play, chance to win a candy bar back! 6pm

Then catch an American Family Classic Movie-An American Tail- starting at dark.

Happening NOT at the Kanab Center this week are a few other great events. at the Kaneplex arena, Giddy Up Round Up

Then all kinds of Heritage fun at the Kanab Heritage House ( event) and then dinner and folk music by Symphony of the Canyons
